Traffic Rider bikes

How to think about the game's motorcycle progression instead of simply chasing the most expensive bike.

Roster note: The current game description lists 34 motorbikes. Individual performance values and availability can change between releases, so check the in-game garage for the exact stats on your device.
Starter focusPrioritize acceleration and handling upgrades that make early missions easier.
Balanced setupA balanced bike can be more useful than maximum speed when missions require precision.
Speed buildHigher top speed helps on long straight roads, but control still matters in dense traffic.
Handling firstHandling can make close overtakes and lane changes easier to manage.
Mission-specificChoose upgrades around the mission objective rather than one universal build.
Endless ridingFor score chasing, combine speed with reliable control and a repeatable route strategy.

How to choose your next bike

Do not judge a bike only by its price. Think about what is stopping you from completing missions. If you reach the target distance but struggle to pass traffic, handling and acceleration can be more useful than top speed. If you are consistently safe but cannot reach a speed objective, then speed becomes the better upgrade target.

Upgrade before replacing?

Early upgrades can stretch the useful life of a bike and help you earn enough currency for a stronger replacement. A practical rule is to upgrade when a small improvement directly solves the next mission's requirement; otherwise, save toward the next meaningful bike.

Why close overtakes matter

The scoring system rewards risky close passes, especially at higher speeds. That makes bike control important even when a bike has excellent top speed.
